The Relaxing Lake To Fish In France
A warm welcome to Lake Brillac, the newest venue in the beautiful Poitou-Charentes region of France, only just over one hours flying time from the UK.
Our lake is set in over 8 acres of land ,situated only 10km north east of Confolens on the edge of the quaint little village of Brillac.
Lake Brillac dates back to the 1700's, a Napoleonic lake which is spring fed, our Lake has never been commercially fished. It has a soft clay bed, surrounded by trees, with grass banks .Our lake is stocked with carp,trout,with more carp beeing added. We are also a French registered business

LAKE UPDATE: nov 2008
Currently our lake is having an extreme makeover. During the
months of November/December 2008 the lake is being drained, a new system Moine
(Monk) is being installed. The work is being carried out for a number of reasons
but mainly so that we can comply with French Law so we can retain our closed
water fishing licence so that all anglers can legally fish 24/7, 24 hours per
day 52 weeks a year
